LOL!!! How predictable
Cervelo engineer 1: "Okay team, we're going to completely redesign our paint schemes for 2013!"
Cervelo engineer 2: "Awesome! A chance to do something totally different!"
Cervelo engineer 3: "woohoo!!! I love being creative!"
Cervelo engineer 4: "How about we use a grey/white red
and black theme like we always do, except this time we'll just change it
ever so slightly, what about black on grey with red accents? We haven't
quite tried that yet have we? or grey writing on black?"
Cervelo engineer 5: "I love it, it sounds fresh! It sounds exciting!"
In
reality it's boring as hell and the rest of us can't wait for the
engineers to let people with good taste paint their admittedly awesome
frames. It's like they freaked themselves out after all those
interestingly painted R5's from the past couple years and retreated back
to their black red grey/white boring as hell safety zone. Fail.
Anyhow, I'm about to be flamed, so I should quit. At least if the bikes are cheaper this year I could use the money I save from buying an R3 to have it painted half decently
