Actually, they were dead Ponderosa Pine cones. ;)

 Just starting to get spring like around here..........

I rode my little Placerita Canyon Loop. It was nice and warm out. 99 degrees max at some spots.

All year is fire season in SoCal. More so during the hot and dry summer in the mountains and canyons. 

 Who needs clean hoods..?

Sure. No problem. There's plenty of climbing around here if you're into that. :)

Today down in the valley......a couple nice spring days for cycling.

It was a very grey Easter weekend here in London. It brightened up yesterday, did my new 60 mile ride round Box and Leith Hills, south west of London.

There are some lovely quiet roads, a few short sharp climbs and descents that get fast enough to scare me, in a good way.
