Pretty incredible escape and I'm sure Rachel is very thankful to still be able to get on a bike at all! Good testimony to the strength of the RS frame.

 Good find. I don't want to start a debate on whether or not wearing headphones and no helmet are a good or bad idea either ;) But if I posted on here that I'd crashed into a truck after riding with music on, no helmet and not looking where I was going I'd expect to be called an f*ing idiot.

On a more positive note I ordered a second pair of Speedplay Zero's from Wiggle yesterday, paid £80 for the cromo version, got the stainless version in the post today :)

And she was going the wrong way up the road!!! Really, how stupid.

 Looks like the steerer took the force of the crash.

 I want to see the lorry. I bet it's in two pieces. Minimum.

Debate aside, in many states in the US (not sure about California), it's illegal to ride a bike on the road with headphones/earphones on both ears, just as it is for an automobile.

 I thank her for not ever riding the streets in CA ever again.
