Rouleur:
Another related question though. Does anyone know were you can get a little rubber plug / stopper to put in the bolt hole in the stem cap. A lot of built up bikes have this little stopper but I haven't seen them for sale anywhere. It is quite handy as it stops water dripping into the bolt hole and causing corrosion.
Allen - I haven't found any of the 'bungs' on their own, but a couple of websites I looked at today seem to supply them with caps and star nuts (i.e. replacements). Chain Reaction cycles (www.chainreaction.co.uk) have got a couple, one from M:Part and another from Ritchey (both around £4). Can't remember other one off the top of my head. Have been wracking my brains to try and think where-else I might have come across such a thing (am sure Ikea furniture sometimes comes with this sort of thing!), and the only other idea I could think of was RS components (they are great for bizarre versions of Loctite though if you ever get stumped for that) - but no luck there when I checked.
At a stretch I found these, which may be of no use whatsoever, but it was the best Google could do (might be my limitation rather than theirs!): http://www.pro-dec.com/decorative-screw-caps-screw-covers/hole-caps
Best of luck.
Yours,
Matthew
P.S. Can't make any of my links work tonight - Firefox is conspiring against the forum editor I think.
