    S1 ( Soloist team ) needs a good home,,,

Sadly I post. Size 51 cm Si one for sale in the Chicago area. This bike is a 2009 model in the sharp red and white paint with black letters. All stock from the factory except for carbon headset spacers. This bike runs and looks like new. It should because it has very few miles, under five hundred for sure, has never been down, or seen any inclement weather. The drivetrain on the bike is in a perfect state of tune, flawless Ten-speed shifting and strong, smoooth brakes. Anything you have read about the handling and ride of the S1 is true. This bike is rocket fast. The harder and deeper you corner it the better it feels, and yet it has very nice smooth compliant ride, softer feeling than my TST titanium mountian bike. The stock R500 Shimano wheelset is straight as an arrow and has never seen a spoke wrench. Carbon aero seatpost, no slipping or creaking. Tires,Vittoria Rubino Pro slick have never been punctured and have incredible grip. The stem and bars are from 3T and compliment the bikes colors nicely. I am not sure of the size but they fit me fine. Black bar tape looks like it was just professionally wrapped. No cable rub. So in conclusion the bike shines like new penny and I got a lot of compliments on it.

I am a bit over 5' 8" tall and felt like the bike fit me well. You are on your own as far as sizing goes but you most likely wouldn't want to be much taller.

Reason for selling is a herniated disc and could use a few bucks for co-pays and deductables.

I have read that people have trouble posting pictures here so reply to this post and I will be happy to send you some.

Bike was for sale locally on Craigslist a while back but a couple deals fell through. No one has ever ridden this bike but myself.

I hope to sell it here to a Cervelo enthusiast. If not it goes on E-Bay. Will carefully pack and ship, insured in two sturdy boxes. Will provide shipping quote . Pay-Pal is best. Prefer to ship to the lower 48. Locals, no test rides without a fat cash deposit.

Asking price is $1650 US dollars or best offer. Please ask many questions.

Thanks for looking and ride hard and often,    James .

it's not difficult at all to post pictures. most people simply don't know what the internet is.

step 1: upload picture(s) to photobucket.com or tinypic.com (or any other third party image hoster)

step 2: when posting here on the boards, click on the "Insert/edit image" button when you're writing up your post.

step 3: insert the picture's url and click 'Insert'

repeat steps 2 and 3 for every picture.
