    Steerer cutting disaster

Just got my new R3, probably should have waited until the weekend but decided to cut the steerer tonight, don't know quite how I did it but have cut it way to short. Question can I get a white 3T fork in the UK? If anybody is after a 2009 white 3T unused fork now only suitable for 56cm frame or smaller drop me a line. As you can imagine I am gutted.

I have a 61 inch frame R3 SL Black.  My tube was for a guy 6 feet tall and I am 6'4" I am getting a new Fork and was wondering how I would sell mine.  It should be perfect for you.

See my pics on the Photos thread.  Mint condition. But Black.

Let me know if you are interested.  I need to buy new, so it would be nice to offset the cost.

I'd suggest contacting your local Cervelo dealer. Chances are they won't have one, but they will be able to make a call to Madison (the distributor) who may offer more joy (caveat: Madison are about the least customer friendly operation in the known Universe).

Usually speaking only the colors that 3t offers for aftermarket sales are offered for seperate purchases.  The color matched forks supplied with cervelos are usually only offered as OEM sales(with the frame that is) and not available as a seperate purchase.  But I am not saying this rule can not be bent, so You may still want to contact the shop/supplier for your area as they may be able to help you out.

Madison do list colour-matched forks on their B2B website, just make sure you get the right offset for an R3 (43mm I think). I don't imagine a Cervelo dealer would have any trouble ordering one, but a non-Cervelo dealer might.

I would try contacting either Primera Sport ( Bournemouth, England ) or Slane Cycles ( Belfast, Northern Ireland ). They are the two biggest Cervélo dealers in the UK and will be able to get you a replacement white fork from Madison.
