    Rear drop out question

Hey peeps just a quick question bout the rear drop outs on my 08 r3

i happened to notice something whilst cleaning that i havent in the past

1stly the rear dropouts are aluminium correct?

secondly this is my concern it looks fine 2 me but wanting a 2nd opinion i will attach pics to help explain

basically is this normal for my reynolds wheels to sit where they do in the rear drop out they are definantly seated properly i just thought it looked a little odd

    thanks

    Re: Rear drop out question

Do you mean because it appears that they aren't seated all the way down?

I don’t have an R3, but the drop outs should be made of aluminum. Other than the bicycle being upside down, what are you seeing as odd? It looks fine to me.

Not sure about question, you say it is seated correctly.  If it is seated correctly then what is the concern.  Take off the skewer, if the axle is all the way in the dropout then it is correct.

    Re: Rear drop out question

yes sorry for the confusion what i meant was that is it in far enough for proper clampage as i have seen some rear drop outs where the clamping surface is alot deeper

    cheers

im sure mine is fine but just wanted to check
