It's not boring around here. And my acetabulum fracture has healed that much that I can laugh without having painful moments.

Jasann,it's good to have you here allthough I would prefer Superman being around. With so much money I would pay him for a world reversal to catch just the moment before I hit the road and would have turned that corner slower....

It's sad that I haven't thought about this much before. I think I'd probably go for a Cervélo R3 or S2 though. Cervélos tick all the boxes for me:

- Performance
- Street cred.
- Everyone has heard of them and knows immediately that it's a good bike, but you don't get the "wanker who paid too much for his bike" tag from your co-riders
- They're not "too" common, but neither are they so rare that most people haven't heard of it
- They look good outside the coffee shop
