I think im just about to buy an R3 08. I currently have an RS 08 and I removed the CSC stickers without problem. Will the stickers come off the R3 okay? They looked as though they might be under the lacquer top coat but that might be because they are white on white.

They come right off.  It's a little tricky getting a piece loose but once you get enough loose, it peels right off.

Just grab your wifes hairdryer and blast them with that....so will quickly soften up and peel of like butter...

I think you guys are missing the gist wilwil's question. He's already taken the stickers off of his RS once before, so he knows how to do it. His concern is that on the R3 they look like they are under the clear coat, which of course would prevent removal. He's just asking for a confirmation that on the R3 they are in fact not under the clear coat. I'm 95% sure they are on the surface just like the RS, but I don't have an R3 so can't confirm that 100% for him.

I"d be guessing by our responses Gimme Shoulder that YES they are removable...just simply suggesting ways in which it can be done to help along....thanks anyway for you concern..

Agreed. They came off my '08 RS with no problem (or hairdryer).

They came right off my R3 without a hairdryer.  You are right, they do look as though they are under the lacquer, but they are not. Mine left no residue.
