I thought I'd add a photo of my Cervelo to the forum. Its a 54cm 2005 P2SL that I've built up. It may not be the latest and greatest frame, but at the same time, it's still dead sexy! It's got D/A shifters and derailleurs, a SRAM compact crank and a Recon 12-23 cassette. I started out with a disc cover for the back wheel and an old specialized tri-spoke on the front, but have since gotten a Hed Jet disc and gigantex 85mm rim. I've got no excuse when racing TT's on this bike

Hey Slowpoke, I love the look of your 2SL it looks like it was designed to be as it is, right down to the matching decals! I have the decal on the front wheel, haven't seen that before did you remove any other declas from it or is that how it came? Either way it's a great looking ride.

Thanks Julian. I think the anodized cervelo frames look great. I've been working on the fit over the past year and I've got the tri fit worked out to be both comfortable and (hopefully) fast. The gigantex rim on the front came without decals and I really like the look of it.

    Thanks for the feedback.

Yeah, that was a Virgin shot on the night I brought her home. As for saddles, I ordered a carbon shell Fizik Aliante in black.

I hope this works.  This is my new 2008 SLC frameset.  Jokers sent to me with a Wolf SL fork, so I am waiting to get it exchanged now.  I prefer the paint, and simplicity of cable routing of the older SLC to the new S2.  I was so happy to find one new old stock.  I've wanted one for over 2 years, I finally gave in and pulled the trigger on it.  Can't wait to ride her.

Congratulations, that's an awesome frame. Just out of interested what had you been riding previously whilst posting as SLC? I had just assumed it ws an SLC, so this post came as a bit of a surprise!

I currently ride this, my soon to be backup bike:

I set up my account directly after ordering the frame.  I was a lurker prior to that.  I test rode a SLC 2 years ago as well as many other bikes, and the SLC was the best thing I had ever come across.  Ever since then I have been chasing the SLC dragon as I call it.  So I decided to start building the SLC of my dreams.

    Just another 09 R3...

    Hi all,

Recently built up, but she's wearing the "winter" wheels right now (Kinlin XR27, Tune hubs). The regular wheels are American Classic Mags.

I'm still doing some small tweaks to it but it's basically there. I've only had a couple of rides on it so far, but am very happy with the ride quality and performance.

    Thanks, Quixote.

The cranks are Stronglight Pulsions (discontinued, but currently reborn as the Vulcan model). I had these on my previous carbon bike. There have been reports of breakage, but I have been fortunate so far - but I'm only 145 lbs and not hard on any of the equipment.
