My '08 R3sl.  I work at a bike shop and get to ride/own lots of nice bikes.  This one is my favorite.  I will be keeping her.  Full Campagnolo Record.  To many wheels to list.  Looks good with the gold Shamal's.

    Cyppen,

All I can say is Wow! Great collection of bikes. I like what you are doing with the S3. Nice colors, like the bike Thor rode in the Tour De France. Also, Great Wheelsets. I wish you a quick return of your S3 from the painter. Don't forget to post pics of it when it comes back. Again, Great collection.

My new, warranty replacement R3. All DA 7800 except for a Sram Force compact crank and cassette. Seatpost will be replaced with something nicer in due course. It's a carbon wrap cheapie that the LBS gave me (the FSA post from my 08 R3 is too wide for the new R3).

The plain white fork from my old bike stands out a bit, but I think it looks ok.

Haven't ridden her yet, and may not be doing so for a while. I've injured my knee.. potentially torn ACL. Ouch. Got an MRI coming up to determine the damage.

Hi Luckymuffler, shouldn't you get the 3T Doric Seatpost? I got my 2010 R3 include the 3T Doric seatpost. Also, the fork looks different than my R3.

Andreas, he did say that the fork was from his old bike. Is yours black to match the frame? I haven't seen the 2010 frame before and don't know the paint scheme.

It's a warranty replacement, for frame only. Fork and post not included in the replacement, and must be transferred from the old frame to the new.

Yes, as others have mentioned, I only got a replacement frame, nothing else. I just transplanted everything onto the new frame.

In the case of the seatpost, it meant I could not use my FSA SLK post from my old R3. It's too wide, and is destined for ebay. I'm looking at buying something a bit nicer to replace the cheapo seatpost I have in the photo though.

As for the fork, I don't mind how it looks. I was worried about how it would look, but when it was all put together I don't mind. I just wish I could ride it.

Thanks for that information. I think it's a bit pity to have only the frame replacement, especially when you have paint scheme changement

Frankly, if they choose to replace an '08 R3 with a '10, Cervelo ought to throw in the '10 seatpost. It's not the owner's fault that Cervelo changed the seat tube diameter. As for the fork, at least the solid white (or black) sorta works with this paint scheme.

I picked up a 2010 S1 to use as a training bike this winter. My 2008 R3 SL was getting destroyed in this tough Irish weather. The S1 is fitted out with 2009 Sram Rival with a red crankset.

The S1 got a lot of flak in this color scheme on this forum, but I like it. It looks a lot better in the flesh too.

The zipps match your colour scheme to a T!

Bottom bracket crack/imperfection which Cervelo replaced promptly.

Hi Axel, the headset came with the frameset. Its probably an FSA (possibly a cane creek). The stem I am using is a PRO PLT. 125g for less than 40 euro's. Can't beat that value. Have the Pro Vibe, Alu/Carbon stem 110g on my other Cervelo. Love them.

Bars are Deda Newton, probably the best Alu Bar. Can't bring myself to ride carbon bars after seeing a set break in half in a race and a guy fracturing his skull. My EC90's were on ebay that evening.
