Bottle cages for P2C/P3C Cervelos - Xlab Sonic Wing vs Beaker H5.C Hydrotail - Which is best?

Noticed two manufacturers have started producing bottle cages to hang off the back of Cervelo seatposts using those two small holes at the top of the post ...Wondering which one to buy...Has anyone tried the Xlab Sonic or Beaker H5.C Hydrotail systems?  Or would something else be better?

I purchased a hydrotail and thought it was ok.  I then saw the sonic wing and immediatly dumped the hydrotail in favor of th sonic wing and have been very happy with it.  It's much easier to mount a saddle bag on the Soinc than the hydrotail for training rides and there's a vastly increased amount of adjustability with the sonic wing.

I got the H5.C and love it.

The bottles sit lower so is easier to mount and dismount from the bike.

I also have the Beaker H5.c. The system can be set up in two positions, high and low. I have it in the lower position and find that it is the perfect height for me to reach the bottles while in the aero position. Also I don't have to jump so high to mount the bike during transitions. Finallt the 2 velcro straps really do work well to hold my space tire, levers, and CO2 cartridge. I am very happy with this set up.

I use some fairly cheep aluminum cages. Beauty about these is that I can squeeze the top closed more so that the bottle stays put. I have never had any issues with bottles wanting to get launched.

The X-lab is the way to go. Not only can you carry your bottles, but also your CO2's, inflator, bag and spare tire or tube. As for the cages, we have very good experience with the cheap Profile Design Kage. It is a plastic cage with a rubber band going around it. You'll never launch a bottle with these. If you want carbon, give the Blackburn Gorilla Grip a try. They also hold your bottle really well.

If you really want cages that will hold the bottles whether empty or full with an iron grip get the Arundel carbon cages or the Zipp carbon cages, just make sure there is a tab at the top of the cages to hold the notch on the bottles you use.

+1 for the Zipps, I mount them on a Hydrotail (I have the P2C the year before the seat mast with the two holes came out - so have to mount to the saddle rails) and have never launched a bottle.

However I had an XLab saddlewing before that and even with the Zipp cages was still launching - I think that sytem flexed/moved too much which didn't help....

The first cages I used were the Arundel Dave-O carbon cages.  these launches more bottles than any other I've tried.  I used the Profile Design cages which seemed to work well.  After they broke in a little, I began launching empty bottles.  I also had one of the rubber bands break.  I ordered a similar design from Tacx - haven't tried yet.  Beaker Concepts recommends the King cage - link is one their website.  These are just a simple metal cage like someone above mentioned using.  I'll try these next.

    Thanks for al the responses.
