Cervelo S1 Headset with a lower stack height please?

Hi... does anyone know if a Hope Integrated Headset will work in an S1? http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=18083  ...its got a much lower stack height which I'm interested in. Another one I spotted which has less stack height than the supplied Cane Creek is a Ritchey WCS, not as small a height as the hope though http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=39382

I know there's other ways of getting the bars lower, stems with different angles or flipping one over but this would be the neatest way to acheive it if it works.

I suppose if in theory either would work then Id still have to check the bearing race depths to make sure they's compare to the Cane Creek for a good fit (even though if they were '1mm or so' less it would be ideal as there's about that as an ugly gap at the moment.

     Advice appreciated.

You can order lower stack covers from cane creek. Whatever you get needs to be IS format

Really? ...can't point me at any online can you (im in the UK) ...Ive just had a search through canecreek.com and nothing seems to be listed.

Sure someone else must have done something about the stack height on an S1 or S2, you don't have an opinion on the Hope ?

Update for anyone spotting this thread... there is indeed another cap or whatever you'd call it that has a 10mm height as against the 16 to 17ish standard one, which I have now got on its way. Will post again to say if all went as I hope when it arrives, I asked at cervelo dealer who have got it coming for me from Cane Creek distributor.

     MFIN,

     I'm about to build a S1 and i've hit a wall.

The frame is on its way, but i want to purchase parts before it comes for a quick assembly.

Is this the headset your purchased?

If not, can you point me in the right direction?

     Cheers

Yeah, that one is exactly the one the S1 comes with... the short version is just a top cap thats nowhere near as tall. I tried to get info on anyone usig other headsets such as Hope ones but I couldn't so I got one of those. I was also made aware that the top cap IS available as a part too... so you don't have to get the whole thing if you can find its in stock at the distributor and get it ordered to a dealer (ask a dealer to phone). That'll save a few quid.
