Just looking for opinions as to whether this should be a concern or not.
I've had my S1 about 3 1/2 weeks at this point. I've put about 200 miles on it, and it performs as expected.
When my LBS was putting it together, the store manger told me to come in and check it out when it was in
the "rolling chassis" stage (wheels, no tires). As we were admiring it, he grabbed the seatpost to mount it on a
a stand, and lo and behold the clamp was loose. My brand new Ksyrium Elites along with frame fell onto the
floor on the rim edges. The manager caught the bike in the upright position and inspected the wheels. Things
appeared to be okay, but today I was just inspecting the bike, and noticed a small bump near the edge of the rear wheel.
there's definitely a small raised area where the rim hit the floor. The wheel appears true but the integrity of the braking
surface is slightly compromised.
I will be going to my LBS for an adjustment, and will bring this up. I'm wondering if I should demand a new rear wheel?
