I find it funny because the more that you got closer to 13 lbs and while I was watching your thread the more I wanted to lower the weight of my build. LOL

I was even thinking about going to tubulars to get it lower in weight but I think as you mentioned, you want to have something unique to yourself. I think personally for me going as aero as possible while riding clinchers and being sub 13 is the goal and like you mentioned there is a lot of different ways to go about it.

 At the end of the day having an aero sub 13lbs build is amazing no matter how you go about it. Just like having a 13 lbs steel bike is unique.

 av018, how did the tune saddle rails fit on the cervelo post clamp? i just ordered one and hoping its compatible and fits right.

There was a few mm distance but the rails are quite Flexible, so when you tighten the seatpost bolt it snaps into place Grtzz

so you had to bend the rails a little bit to have it fit? does it seem to be putting alot of stress on the carbon rails since its flexed onto the seat clamp? last thing i want is to hit pothole or bump and have it just snap on me :(

 How did you paint your spokes? Rattle can, powder coat, etc? How is it holding up. I want white spokes on my Mavic's!
