 if drilling the hole voids warranty, then I'm pretty sure Cervelo has "taken their stand" on this. I'm sure Cervelo will tell you to go ahead and drill the hole, but they will not be responsible for what happens afterward.

frame?  fork?  wheels?  we need details.   and as far as not properly mounting your wheel into the dropouts... not a good idea.
