I have that exact setup.  Very nice.  Super stiff, yet still pretty light.  No braking problems with the supplied Tangente Platinum Pro (silver) brake pads and I'm a heavier rider that typically rides in Marin area (hilly N. CA).  As long as you brake smart, it's totally fine.  Not sure of the exact weight but ...
