If you want rid of it, used Cervélo frames fetch a decent price on eBay, especially the rarer models like the R2.5.
What size is it? Interested in selling?

Hi again,
The R3 SL does sport a bit of an unfinished look at it does not have a lot of paint other than around the BB, chain stays and head tube. Furthermore the frame lacks a layer of cosmetic carbon fibre ( cross-weave effect ) in order to keep the frame weight down.
In all honesty though the weight saving from the R3 SL over the R3 is ...

I'd go for it, I'm an R3 SL owner and it's a great bike.
Going for the 2008 model you also get a Syntace post which is a better product than the 3T Doric.
As for the Funda fork, all Cervélo OEM forks only say Funda, no additional Pro or Team marking is present.

I can't say for sure, but I'm guessing those exposed cables should have a section of cable housing on them at that point. Otherwise, as you say, the cables will quickly carve grooves in the frame.

Lewy, what weight are you if you don't mind me asking? It is bizarre you have cracked 4 frames in a row!

I would try contacting either Primera Sport ( Bournemouth, England ) or Slane Cycles ( Belfast, Northern Ireland ). They are the two biggest Cervélo dealers in the UK and will be able to get you a replacement white fork from Madison.

- Has the bike been clamped by the top tube in a stand?
- While riding do you recall hearing a stone or other road debris being sucked up by front wheel and hitting the downtube.
I wonder why bike companies use white paint on frames as it must mean more recalls. Small ...

Is you girlfriend still your girlfriend?!? ;)
I can empathise though, I did exactly the same thing to my original R3 SL breaking one of the seat stays. In the end I went for a crash replacment frame.
I still have the old broken frame at home ( with bottom bracket sawed out of it ), can't bear to throw it away.
