• Re: I have a dilema..toes hitting the tire

So as not to mislead the OP, toe overlap is certainly not specific to Cervelo. It's been around since long before there were Cervelos. I have toe overlap on my 56cm CAAD3, and just barely on my 56 RS. But then I have my cleats set all the way back on the shoe (otherwise I wouldn't have TO on the RS). It simply depends on frame size, ...

DON"T move your cleats if they are set to what fits you - you'd be throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Toe overlap is just a fact of life on the smaller frame sizes. Just stay aware of it when you're doing turnarounds and such and you'll be OK. Nothing wrong. You just have to get used to it.

Frankly, if they choose to replace an '08 R3 with a '10, Cervelo ought to throw in the '10 seatpost. It's not the owner's fault that Cervelo changed the seat tube diameter. As for the fork, at least the solid white (or black) sorta works with this paint scheme.
...shouldn't you get the 3T Doric Seatpost? I got my 2010 R3 include the 3T Doric seatpost. Also, the fork looks different than my R3.   Andreas. • Re: Using deep section race wheels for every day training: cool or uncool?

They look cool and high tech, but unless you are racing, or at least averaging well over 20mph on your rides, they are just expensive jewelry. So I guess, if you have the legs to back them up, I'd say they're "cool" for any occasion. I don't have those legs - so I would consider them "un-cool" and pretentious for ...

  • Re: CSC stickers on 08 R3. Removable?

I think you guys are missing the gist wilwil's question. He's already taken the stickers off of his RS once before, so he knows how to do it. His concern is that on the R3 they look like they are under the clear coat, which of course would prevent removal. He's just asking for a confirmation that on the R3 they are in fact not under ...
