That is a fantastic bike. No worries on the warranty as long as you are the first owner. Test rides, demo rides, do not count. (I believe this is the case).

Why is cycling so different from other pro sports. Your team wins the World Series. You wear the Jersey. Your team wins the Stanley Cup. You wear the Jersey. Ride stunning bikes (and they are awesome daxpang), and get sloshed on the forums. Congrats on the bikes. Ride fast.

I should qualify. I took the OPs suggestion of a cervelo ride as a large, organized, ride. 5 people ok, certainly no insurance, and I was not implying such. 50 people. 500 people, another story.

This gets into the semantics of a few friends getting together vs an organized ride. The Oakville cycling club is a club with organized rides, AND club insurance through the OCA that each club member has paid for (I am assuming here, but can not imagine it any other way, unless the organizers are comfortable in a position of great liability). ...

The Toronto Subaru Club has get togethers. Why not a Cervelo owners ride. That would be great. But, who is going to organize it, arrange for insurance, let municipalities and police forces know, get road/intersection control, etc. Would love to be a part of such a ride.

However a friend of mine with an RS with Dura ace c24's after riding my bike with his dura ace followed by my bike with the fulcrums also with Pave 24's, also noticed how hard the bike goes over bumps , holes and the general ...

I have an R3 with Fulcrum Racing Zero (stiffer than the Racing 3s) and run the Pave 24s, and the comfort is fantastic. Could this not be a rim/tire issue but a fit issue, with too much weight on the saddle?? I am in no way a fit pro, but I certainly do not have any issues with my set up.

Great advice Jon. Thanks. I am sure your descriptions will help anyone thinking of going EPS.

This is an old post, but I am interested in the same: adding Record EPS to an S3. JONR, did you do this? Has anyone else?
