  • Re: Beating a long dead horse...

I have Chorus 10 on my R3, and it is flawless. I prefer the ergonomics of the shifting, I like the thumb button. I have Super Record 11 on my S3, and the front chainring has been an issue. If it does not rub on the largest two rear cogs, it will drop the chain on the inside on shifting. To prevent the drop, it rubs. I am having a chain catcher ...

  • Re: New P3C with Campagnolo EPS

Yes, but will the battery be internal? The new EPS battery will NOT fit inside the R5. So will it fit in the P3? I am a Campy guy, but they have not done well with their batteries, and that has certainly kept me from making any switch to electronic.

  • Re: R3dark

The R3 is a stunning bike. If I were to choose between my R3 and S3, I would keep the R3. Build it up and you will see why R series bikes are so highly thought of.

  • Re: R5 frames size

Yes, get fit. I am 6'2" (188 cm) and ride a 61. However, a lot of those my height ride a 58. But, a proper fit puts me perfectly on a 61. Get a fitting done. The time spent will greatly improve your satisfaction with the bike.

  • Correct Campy part?

I have fallen for the new R5, and want to transfer my 2011 SR11 group set over, including the crank. From the bbright website it looks like I need an adapter to use the crank. Are these the current, and correct, part numbers: Campagnolo IC11-CER51 Cervelo BB-P-CAM-BBRI. And, once installed, it is a simple crank install? Thanks.

  • Re: Winter storage: safe to hang bike by front wheel?

I hang both my R3 (with Fulcrum Racing 0) and S3 (With Campagnolo Bora's) that way. No problems. I would hate to think that the fork can not take 16-18 lbs of weight hanging, while it is designed to withstand our weight at speed. So I say, hang 'em and save space.

  • Re: *New Specialized Helmet

I actually like the Evade. I have not seen one, but lots on the Tour. Does not look like it will have a visor though. And, I think it looks way better than the Air Attack (and I am a Giro fan, but that is one ugly helmet).
