  • Re: Castelli Arm & Leg/Knee Warmer sizing

For Pearl Izumi I wear large arm, knee and leg warmers. For Castelli Nanoflex I have the same gear but upsized to XL and am glad that I did. The fit is still a bit snug but I prefer it that way. If you have non cyclist arms or bigger than normal legs, then you may want to go xxl. The Nanoflex gear is not as stretchy as the Pearl Izumi .

  • Re: Velonation website

It is disappointing if Velonation has gone down for good. Hopefully the lag is just a technical issue or a rebuild of the site itself. I also frequent this news site along with cyclingnews, velonews and Pez, but have always found that I could count on Velonation for quick turnaround following a particular race... We will have to wait and see...

  • Velonation website

Is it my connection or is something wrong with the website. I have not seen a update since February 23. Does anyone have this same issue? Has this news site run into some financial or other issues? Anyone? Thanks in advance.

  • Re: Its new bike time!

[quote user="goodboyr"] Ride: I am coming from a 2006 R3, before BBright and tapered headtubes, etc. I always considered the R3 to be a very responsive, stiff ride. I just did a long ride on it this weekend (230 km) and it was very comfortable as usual. This bike on exactly the same wheels is considerably stiffer and more responsive. ...

  • Re: Nutrition / Training advice

A couple of bananas and a Clif bar should do the trick when commuting on the way home. Stash an extra bars or gel in your jersey in the event that you need a boost during the ride.
