I had a hunch once that S2 Black LTE came out, something was up... wonder what people that bought those are thinking now...

... I am glad I got the utterly sexy looking bike, and not one with blue and turqoise (or whatever the other color on the New S2 is)

Lol... c'mon... it's Garmin/Slipstream blue... you know, it matches well with the kit.  BTW, what's wrong with a little aqua-sea foam-blue?

Colours aside, the only thing that would make me get rid of my current S2 is the new one. Cervelo hit the nail on the head with the improvements. I love my S2, but this new one looks awesome.

LOL. Still happy with my LE S2 because of the color/more aggressive geometry. If I'm not mistaken, the new S3 has the same geometry as the S5 correct? I.E. larger head tube? Although, I would have loved that rear wheel cutout

Don't get too hammer-happy now... the new S2/S3 are using a single bolt seatpost clamp/cradle... it will be interesting to see if Cervelo stuck with the S5 style clamp that "really" only allows round saddle rails (unless you file the clamp)... or are they finally going to manufacture and sell a clamp replacement that will accept ovalized carbon rails... who knows...

Hard to say on the S2.  They still have the same measurement table for the "New S2" but they might just not have updated the site with that yet.  Head tube height looks the same to me from the pics if the bikes are the same size.  But it does look like the "New S2" has a tapered head tube.

Fair enough, I also noticed that the new one is only $50.00 more than the old on the Cervelo website. Pretty good for a fresh new model. Edit: I have the S2 2-position seatpost. It holds everything securely, but it didn't allow me to fit a new Selle Italia saddle (too far back, no zero setback position), and the front bolt was way too fiddley to adjust.

Rightly so... the colors are nice on the LTE, but I believe the added front end stiffness, thinner seatstays, wheel cutout, and BB stiffness are definitely worthwhile updates... now, do you prefer BSA or BBright... that's where you can certainly get some heartburn... -10 or -17 degree stem fixes the position.

As far as I know, the NEW S3/2 are the same geometry and head tube lenghts as R series! (I think it was confirmed when NEW S3 was presented) It means same angles and reach as R5/S5 but shorter headtube than S5!

    Six to 2:
The front triangle on the "new" S2 looks alot like the 2013 S2. The link is no longer there...
I doubt it. The NEW S2 is the same modl/shape as NEW S3. The fork is the only difference....that is what the bike looks "ligher/more fragile" at the fornt end for the first sight. No sense to have 2 different molds. Anyway, I do not understand all the S2! They presented NEW S3 2 months ago....not a word about it on the Cervelo site.....now NEWS2 appears. What is the difference between S2/S3? I see only FORK. Damon Rinnard said that S3 uses "cheapo" carbon fibers (it has larger diamere tubes, so it can use cheaper fibres to make it stiff)....so, what is the S2 made from if S3 is a chepo carbon fiber frame???? :-)

Time will tell on this one.  Nothing published yet on the cervelo.com.

S5 has the same headtube lenght as the R series

Cervelo keeps confusing you all by the way it is phrased on the S5 geo table, with 6mm extra headtube lenght etc, they refer to the bottom tube extending futher down to close the gap to the front wheel

Other than the S3 logo on the seat tube, it looks great with the deep wheelset.

Can you define "cheapo" carbon fibers?  Maybe a source?  You might be confusing low mod carbon vs. high mod carbon as if there is a quality difference.  Quality is not the difference, they're different fibers used for different reasons, "flexy and tough vs.brittle and stiff"
