    frame size

At the risk of sounding ridiculous given that I've had the bike for 9 years can someone confirm that on the serial number on the frame, the last two digits denote the frame size. I am looking at getting an S5 di2 so just want to be sure of the sizing.

    Re: frame size

None of my 3 bikes have a 51 in the serial number. (They are all 51.)

Maybe it is just a coincidence but the serial number on the bottom bracket ends with the two numbers 52 and I was guessing that that was the frame size. From what you are saying this isn't the case and as there are no other numbers on the frame do you have to measure the frame to establish what size it is, and if so where do you measure to as it has a sloping top tube.

The serial number on my R3 ends in "46" but it's a 61cm frame.

I think I will measure the head tube as that seems to be a sensible thing to do

    Re: frame size

Hi Don, Our serials do not include frame size, but as others have suggested, measuring the headtube is the best way to go. Each size has a unique headtube length. Cheers,

Hi guys, just measured the head tube and it is 120mm . What size does that make the frame?. Stand over is 740mm.
