    R3 Tire Width

I find myself riding more and more on gravel and would like to go for a wider more compliant tire.   I've got 2016 R3 (Non-Disc).

Right now I'm running Schwalbe One's at 25c on Fulcrum Racing 3's.   I'd like to go to at-least 28 if not 30.  What have you had experience with what works and doesn't work?  What tires are you looking for a mixed application with some gravel?

I've got an R3 also and have ROL Race SLR wheels which are 18mm internal width hoops. Currently I've got Continental GP4000s II in size 700x25 on them. I don't have any space issues but I don't think I could move up to 28s either.

I was not able to put 28mm on my 2014 R3. I believe the 2014 and 2016 have the same frame. Running 26mm sworks on c24 durace wheels.

    Re: R3 Tire Width

I have a '14 R3 (black/blue/silver paint) and was concerned about tire clearance. I have Fulcrum Racing 5.5 LGs, which I think are a wider wheel. On the front I have a 23 Conti GP4k2 and a 25 on the back. The front actually measures close to 25 with a caliper and the back close to 27 due to how the tire lays on the wheel. Plenty of clearance on the back while the front is much tighter but with still enough clearance to work.
