S3D frame binding on rear wheel

Hi, has anyone else noticed when doing up rear skewer on the 2017 Cervelo S3D di2 the frame binds slightly creating rolling resistance? When the skewer is undone it is a perfectly balanced wheel. LBS said don’t tighten to tight but then skewer continually undoes. #frustrated PLEASE HELP!!

I have a friend with the rim brake version of those ENVE wheels.... and the same issue.... There was a recall from ENVE (possibly a quiet recall) He used some different skewers while waiting for the new ENVE skewers and his problem went away.

Thanks Don, I will contact my LBS and get them to follow up with Enve. I'd expect better when you invest this amount of money in a bike. Anyone else?

Is this a frame issue or a wheel issue? If as Don says based on his friends experience it was something with ENVE then lambast them. You are right that if you invest that money in something customer service should be better.

I had a similar problem with my ENVE SES 3.4 wheels. Mine did come straight from ENVE. My skewers were replaced also. The ENVE customer service was second to none. The problem I was having was that under normal tension the skewer would move. The wheel would then be misaligned. The skewers that came on his R5 were different than both my 1st or 2nd set. Mine work fine now.
