Dzero Quarq Power Meter for BBright?

I'm looking to install a Dzero SRAM Red Quarq power meter on my Cervelo R5 which I currently have SRAM eTap (older version, not AXS) on with a SRAM Red GXP crankset. On the SRAM/Quarq website, it says you need to install the Dzero for BB30 spindles which means I have to swap out my bottom bracket. Does anyone know if this is really necessary? I really don't want to have to go to a BB30/PF30. Please let me know if anyone has any experience with this type of setup with a Dzero Quarq power meter for GXP.

Yup. Works fine. Just follow the sram gxp instructions on the Quarq web site.

You'll have to exchange your BB anyway to either a PF30 or a GXP. I've been running a Quarq DFour on my Dura Ace S5 Disc, which I had previously installed on my R5 Disc (which I crashed unfortunately). I went for the PF30 BB as I prefer the 30mm spindle.

He's already got a gxp BB on the bike . No need to change anything .

Hey thanks you guys for taking the time to respond, I really appreciate the input. Good to know I can just replace the crankset with the Dzero I just bought without having to change anything else or having to return it. Nice to have fellow Cervelo riders! Steve
