Curious about Cervelo's newish naming conventions

I noticed a few weeks ago that in Cervelo's aero lineup that there was a new "S-Series" along with the S5 and S3 so it looks like the S-Series took the place of the S2. Today I saw that there's a new "R-Series" but they kept the R5 and R2 so it looks like the R-Series took the place of the R3 (opposite of the change in the S lineup). To further confuse things, if you go to the R-Series page and click on the Configure button an R3 shows up. It doesn't look like anything has changed in the C lineup and in the P lineup all of the previous models are there with the addition of the "P-Series". Anyone know what's going on?

R-Series or S-Series looks like R3 or S3 but with Sram Etap groupset only.
