Hambini is a clown. Just ignore him. Quite often the BB issues with any brand of frame are caused by bad quality parts and installation. If you are using the cheapest BB parts and let some random mechanic install them, you are looking for trouble. Stay away from any plastic BB components and use only aluminium etc.parts. When installed according to the instructions there should be no issues.

// the bbright drawings didn't change since their date of approval .. control of a production contractor is a different [and always a proprietary] story ..
I'm maybe looking at the wrong thing then as the diagram on the left in Hambini's video at 18 mins 59 sec has 45.96-45.98 as the "old spec" and, on the right, the 45.88-45.99 as the "new spec" that you've linked to. I can't make out the dates in his slide though and I agree "yours", at 2010, would mean nothing has changed recently. What am I missing?

I've met Damon and ridden with him quite a few times. I have only good things to say about him. He was always there to help when us testers had questions.
