2019 S3 Disc in bike bag

Similar to the recent post about the S5, has anyone successfully traveled with a new S3 Disc in a bike bag? I have an Evoc travel bag. My 2014 S3 traveled easily by removing the stem and letting the bars/stem hang sideways. Not sure if the 2019 version will have enough play in the stem to either take the stem off or to remove the faceplate from the stem and turn the bars 90 degrees? Thanks Rod

You might have the same issues as I had with my S5 Disc and the Evoc bag. Due to the completely internally brake hoses you won't be able to remove the handlebar and attach it to top and down tube as required by Evoc. But you have on advantage compared to the S5 Dis with its v-stem: You can loosen the stem on the steerer tube and turn the handlebar/stem 90 degrees. This may be sufficient to put your S3 Disc into the Evoc bag.
