Marcela!  What do you mean almost perfect?  Looks awesome.  What is that fork!!!?  Is that an Oval Concepts?  I thought that fork was only for non-integrated headsets?  Please tell!!  I want an OC R900 for my Cervelo road bike.

Cervelo R3 The only thing on this R3 that's actually mine is the saddle, pedals and water bottle cage. I got to demo this bike for a few days. Really liked it. I'm going to put together (still saving) an R3SL with Sram Force. When I get it built up I'll be sure to add it here.

Well, i don't want to put perfect because sounds a little arrogant. But i think that is perfect.

Right, the fork is an Oval Concepts, works perfect with the integrated headset.

I like the Sram group so much, i just put it in the bike and ride only a couple of times...I feel a big difference with the Shimano Dura Ace bar end shifters that i previously have, and also looks very nice.

I want to put just good stuff on it, but i have a big advantage beacuse i own a Triathlon Shop here in Florida with my boyfriend, so i have a lot of options to choose.

    Frame: Cervelo P3C 2007 size 48 650c

Fork: Oval Concepts Jet Stream Aero Fork A900

Aerobar: Zipp Vuka Aerobar (with Chicane extensions)

    Brake Callipers: Zero Gravity Ti

    Cranks: Zipp 300 (172.5 mm)

Chainrings: FSA K-Force TT (55T) - FSA aero 42 inner

    Pedals: Speedplay Zero Ti (yellow)

    Chain: KMC X10SL

    Front/Rear Derailleur: SRAM Force

    Bar ends shifters: Sram TT

    Wheelset: Zipp 404 clincher

Saddle: ISM Adamo / Hydrotail customized for Cervelo seatpost w/ double Zipp bottle holder

    WOW!!!!

That looks magic. I am contemplating changing from my Giant Trinity Carbon to a P3C. Everyone I see on these things just look so comfortable. Anyone I talk to about them just think these bikes are the best things out there. What do you think of the Vuka bars.

    Re: Picture of your Cervelo

My pride and joy, which I purchased earlier this year from Team CSC squad member, Luke Roberts, here in Adelaide after the Tour Down Under.

She's resplendent in her Zipp 404 wheels, AlphaQ GS-10 Nanotech fork, full Dura Ace groupset except for the FSA MegaExo K-Force crankset (53/39) with ceramic FSA MegaExo bottom bracket, Speedplay Zero Titanium CSC (ie. red) pedals, FSA K-Force Lite seatpost (35mm setback, 350mm depth), Selle San Marco Regal Ti (titanium rails) saddle, Vittoria Evo CX tyres in full red (I think they're CSC Team Edition from a couple of seasons ago), and last but not least, the Limited Edition 'Team' (ie. red) Sigma BC 1106 speedo. ;)

     R3 with 404s

    FSA MegaExo K-Force crankset

    Alternate (sunny) view

I read in another thread that people don't like riding their Vittoria Evo CX tyres too much...that they puncture too easily or something.

I don't use anything else. The ride quality is simply outstanding on the cotton/kevlar threaded tyres. I find they last a hell of a long time if you don't over-inflate them. 90-100 PSI maximum ensures no punctures and a very smooth ride every time.

    Ceramic MegaExo

Oh, and that's an FSA OS 115 stem and FSA Energy (traditional drop) handlebars. Cervelo bar tape.

    Sigma CSC Team Edition speedo

These Regal saddles are seriously the comfiest I've ridden - especially on the full carbon setback seatpost.

    FSA K-Force Lite (35mm setback)

    Crank (again!) ;)

I also put her Zipp training wheels on and took more pics, just to show them off too ;) Hope y'all don't mind me posting all these pics... (see next post).

    Re: Picture of your Cervelo

My beast again, with the Zipp CSC wheelset (better for the climbs).

    With Zipp CSC training wheels

I forgot to mention I also favour the Zipp Titanium wheel skewers. ;)

    Ceramic BB, Titanium skewers

...and the Tacx Tao bottle cages!

    Crankset (again) and wheel detail

I'm using Vittoria Evo CG (Pave) CSC Team Edition tyres on these wheels for the noticeable extra grip and control they provide on wet descents (it's winter time down here in Australia). I'll put Evo CX back on when the weather fines up in a few months.

saddle and seatpost and my shoe ;)

...that's an Asics shoe I'm wearin'. I drink Twinings English Breakfast tea and I wipe with Sorbent toilet paper. ;)

    I love this thing

Can't help but brag about this thing. I love all Cervelos. They all look great - no matter how old, or what colour.
