I have the silver with redstripes and red #3. This paint scheme came with the ultegra group while the white version was offered with the 105 groupset. The frameset and fork are identical in construction.

Don: your R2 weight is excellent!

    Robg: nice 2013 R3! - saw another very similar 2013 R3 (but w/ sram force22): here

Here is a photo of my black, white and grey 2012 R3 - at 14.45 lbs / 6.55 kg - many great rides on it - still enjoying it.

     Thanks Kronan,

I'm very happy with the rebuild, bike rides and looks better than when it was new.

     Cheers, Rob

Some updated pictures of what are now mostly retro bikes.

Bike 1, Just the way I like it.

Bike 2-A. The original Bike 2 was stolen last month. I managed to locate a new unsold frame in a 56 and have recreated the original:

Bike 3. The cassette wasn't on the disc wheel so this is shown configured for winds/hills:

https://imgur.com/znG2dH6 Back on a Cervelo (again). R5 disc, Enve cockpit, Enve SES 5.6, Dura Ace 9170, but using the 9000 cranks (not a fan of the new crankset). Oh, riding on 30mm Schwalbe S-One tires. Cushy. Tried 32mm Conti 4 Seasons, but those tires were too wide.

How much does it weigh? I am debating between rim vs disc R5 Di2 this Spring.

AT the risk of being blackballed from the Forum, I have just purchased a Dogma F10..!!!! to add to my collection, and went through the whole business of how to kit it out. Apart from deciding to go for Dura Ace Di2 the biggest issue for me was disc or rim. I ended up sticking with rim simply because I have other wheels I can put on the bike if need be without any additional expense. It would also be easier, if needed,to get a spare wheel from someone with the rim brakes. The thought of effectively having to buy new wheels and changing lots of stuff that I already have just didn't seem logical, although I accept that disc braking is the business. I'm still a Cervelo fan..honest!

Don - I demo'd a Dogma back in 2011 when deciding on what I'd replace my Madone with. I felt it was sluggish and unresponsive. Is this your first Pinarello? What do you think of it overall?

Hi Cawright, Thanks for the reply. I haven't got the F10 yet as it is being built up to my spec, but I cycled one for a bit during the summer in Majorca and it was brilliant. Handled like a dream and went like stink. Very responsive and lively.I believe that the latest Pinarellos are a different beast from the earlier ones and the F10 was something again. Once I have it I will report back.
