  • R5ca still going and going and going and going

R5ca born July 2010, I received it in 2012 and has been a test mule all its life. Well, end of this year, I will have put a 100,000km of hard miles on the frame! Ridden it in hot, cold, rain, sleet, sand, etc. I think it's still the best handling bike ever built. It's in need of a new paint job as well as a new groupset but it's still ...

  • Re: Hambini's very negative comments on Cervelo

I've met Damon and ridden with him quite a few times. I have only good things to say about him. He was always there to help when us testers had questions.

  • Re: Possible wrong size

Totally agree! Going to the right fitter, they could do a combo bike-sizing and bike fitting on a size cycle and give you the results. With that paper, you will know EXACTLY what bikes will fit you. Key indicators are frame STACK & REACH.

Should be fine, except, you will need to wipe down sweat after trainer rides.

  • Re: Power Meter for 2013 R3 - options?

Regarding the Pioneer, although you can use the system via ANT+ and display onto a Garmin or Magellan Cyclo 505, without their head unit, you lose all of the pedal positioning data and many other functions that they transmit over their proprietary network.

Yes, Don G did the work :-) Nice, clean job!! Step 1 - measure Shimano oval grommets Step 2 - decide where to place openings, then mask off with tape where to use endmill Step 3 - Dremmel out holes, use fine file, then sandpaper Step 4 - Big hole in BB outer shell (do not damage inner shell) for junction box Step 5 - optional - use ...

Actually a dremel end mill. The guy that did most of the work is the guy that actually built the frame. He did the design analysis on it and it has his blessing. Besides, its the only extra frame I have.
