• Re: Front derailer cable on R3 with no sleeve

If you were to saw the BB shell in half, you would see that there is a route for dirt and water to fall through from the top of the BB shell and out the bottom, so no need to worry about water or dirt getting caught inside. Sounds like your LBS either doesn't understand your request or too lazy to spend the 3 minutes to remove FD cable and ...

[quote user="bobbob"]Hi, since I live in a very hilly area, I would change the 52/36 at the front for a compact crankset. i was told I could change only the chainrings. The problem is i have difficulty finding 50/34 rotor Round rings. They seem to be unavailable. Someone knows where I can find it in Canada ? Thank ...

[quote user="Luma"]First, Peloton Pros are payed to race, so maybe they can stand the chain rubbing and trimming in their ears during the race, if they want. Differently, I have paied for riding that bike, and from that kind of "highly engineered" bike, sincerely, I would expect to have a smooth, flawless ride, without any ...

  • Re: BBRight adapter solution for Campy Ultratorque cranks

Talked to customer yesterday. He said many of the 3rd-party manufacturers aren't making BBRight options for Campy anymore. In fact, he is the first inquiry in a 1-1/2 years asking me if I had a Campy option. Not a big market for Campy. Most people are going Rotor or Shimano (or Shimano equivalent, SRAM, FSA, etc). Anyway, Excel has the ...

  • BBRight adapter solution for Campy Ultratorque cranks

FYI - Customer contacted me and said he wanted to install his Campy Chorus UltraTorque cranks onto this Cervelo (BBRight). Researching this, there are very few solutions anymore and even fewer companies that even have them in stock. Well, I found one that will ...

  • Re: BBright troubles

I'm really questioning lately the quality of mechanics in general. I recently sold some bearings to a customer who wanted to use dura ace on his cervelo. I told the customer exactly how it worked as well as the mechanic. Guess what, the mechanic got back to the customer and said he was having major problems with crank being too sloppy. ...

  • Re: Rotor Power Meter (3D+ Crank), left side Creak. Tried everything, no solution.

With Rotor's I found that over-greasing makes all of the squeaks go away. Grease Everything, inside and out.

  • Re: P3 SEATPOST ISSUES

A couple of things, (1) if you travel a little further to Dana Point, go check out Bike Religion, they are also a Cervelo authorized dealer. (2) When assembled, they should have used the carbon paste to make sure the seatpost doesn't move. (3) They took the easy assembly and just overtightened the bolt. Take it to Bike Religion or G2 Bike in ...
