  • 140mm rotors on R5 Disc

My R5 currently has 160mm rotors, but Im considering sizing down to 140mm. Would it simply be a matter of removing the caliper adapters front and rear? Does the front caliper require an adapter, even for 140mm? Thanks again, forum.

  • Smart trainers (not Wahoo KICKR) compatible with R5 Disc

Are there any smart trainers that have adapters that will work with the R5 discs proprietary thru axle? Im currently using the Wahoo KICKR with their 12x142 thru axle adapter which works, but just wondering if there are any other trainers out there that offer thru axle adapters that will work. Thanks again.

  • Where can I find the serial number?

I thought the SN was under the BB shell, but unless Cervelo changed their SN syntax, I cant seem to find it. I have a sticker that begins with ISO... under the BB (its a 2017 R5 disc frameset, btw). Anywhere else I should be looking? Thanks.

https://imgur.com/znG2dH6 Back on a Cervelo (again). R5 disc, Enve cockpit, Enve SES 5.6, Dura Ace 9170, but using the 9000 cranks (not a fan of the new crankset). Oh, riding on 30mm Schwalbe S-One tires. Cushy. Tried 32mm Conti 4 Seasons, but those tires were too wide.

  • Re: New R5

Does anyone know about the R5 disc thru axle dimensions? I'm assuming 12x100 (f) and 12x142 (r), but I haven't found anything to confirm. Thanks...

Reviews are trickling out now. It seems CyclingTips has a link to the working R-series page: https://rseries.cervelo.com/

  • Re: COR 2016???

Is this open only to current Cervelo owners? Been a Cervelo owner since my first road bike, but I'm currently riding a non-Cervelo. Getting older, so went for an "endurance geometry" bike prior to Cervelo releasing the C-series. Assuming it's open to current and former members of the Cervelo family, I'm in. CA would be ...
