• Re: Awwww......dangnabbit!

I believe Bow Cycle uses and recommends Roberts Composites in Vancouver. It is based on a comment I saw on Strava from one of the owners from a while ago. I can't find the comment but the website is what I remember when I looked them up at the time. http://www.robertscomposites.com/

  • Re: Paul White signature on R3 frame

I was about to post that I had found Phil's signature on my 2014 black and blue R3. I've never looked at it from the correct angle to see it before last night. My frame was upside down on my repair stand, just drying it and "hanging" it at different angles to help get water out of hard to reach or find places. I agree ...

It looks like there are two styles of this cable stop. There is an older(?) solid one and a clip fit one.

  • Re: Can an e-tube cable fit in a top tube brake cable stop?

There aren't many close up pictures of the front end rear brake cable stop on the internet. However I did find this video, and I am guessing he has done what Harry recommended! https://youtu.be/qiE96Ecw0fs?t=1m3s I wish I they showed and spoke about how he routed the Di2 wire in. I assume that it went down the head tube as the seat post ...

  • Can an e-tube cable fit in a top tube brake cable stop?

I am about to pull the trigger on a Di2 upgrade for my internally routed 2014 R3. Some other bike brands have a brake cable stop that accepts both a brake cable and a di2 wire. Is there anyway to safely and nicely hack that into my R3? The reason I want to do this is to run both cables together with heat shrink all the way to the frame rather ...

I've never seen that before, most of us use electrical tape :) Did fizik make the collar for this purpose or was it something else before becoming a seat post height marker? Update: Found my answer. http://www.fizik.com/us_en/men/accessories/others/silicon-ring-27-2.html

  • Re: At what point do you get a power meter?

I got my power meter for three main reasons. First and foremost I'm a numbers geek. First run but last justification. Second, like Trex, I was hooked on interval training using virtual power with Trainerroad. I trained in my attached but unrated garage during my first winter of training. The temperature varied from 3 to 14c depending on ...

  • Re: Replacing internally routed cables

You can take a length of gear cable housing and use just the (usually) white innermost layer.
dmulligan, how heavy are you and how do these hold up to things like the Priddis hill going down?
Kronan: Sorry I forgot to get back to you on this. I'm a couple of years in and I've done quite a few descents now, including the hills down in Priddis and, more often, Cochrane hill. I had ...
