  • Re: Best chain lube

Since this post started I got some Rock 'n Roll and that stuff is the best!!!  I never thought about the chain lube until I saw the post.  The White Lightning was good but this stuff makes the bike silent!

  • Re: Picture of your Cervelo

I think I got it at Likton's (Likbikes.com) because it is my LBS and I want to say just under $400.  What suprised me about the fork is that unlike the upgrade to a carbon fiber handle bar... the OC fork gives a stiffer ride than the Alpha Q I had on there.  When 1st did the FSA KWing bars there was evident dampening.  the OC ...

  • Re: Picture of your Cervelo

I posted my Soloist Team in the early pages of this thread last year.  I have made some upgrades.  Most notable is the Oval Concepts R900 road fork.  I actually have a seperate post just on the fork.  I also have gone with a Fizik saddle which I really like due to the bag system and the thy clearance.  Sorry... the bike is ...

  • Re: Brand new Cervelo owner as of this afternoon

Naftalim!  What a great post. Thanks for sharing.  I did exactly the same thing!  I was a road bike speedster until about 23yrs old. When I turned 39 I started remembering how much I loved cycling.  And cycling fast.  I bought a Soloist Team and now at 41yrs I am breaking my times I had recorded when I was in my ...

  • Re: Reviews on FP60s??

I took a look at the reviews for the FP60's last year and went with the HED Jet 60's instead.  I just got a better build quality feel thats all.  Love the Jet 60's but I rarely use them with wind speeds over 12mph.  Like I have read before - if the flag fis lying straight put the other wheels on.  And if I may ...

  • Re: Carbon fork and fork-mount bike carrier

Thanks all.  I see where a bad mount could do some damage.  Especially with an suv0crossover like I have.  It is taller and i can't see when loading the bike.  But with a Cervelo frame of any material I can't see using any other type of carrier for roof mount than a fork-mount.  On my Jeep I have a trailer hitch ...

  • Carbon fork and fork-mount bike carrier

I have a Volvo (automobile) with a roof rack system.  I have been using it to transport my Soloist Team for more than 2yrs.  I just contacted the dealer to replace some mounting hardware as it is starting to pit from the elements.  when doing this I noticed Volvo states not to use the fork-mount system for a bike with a carbon ...

Chook65,   I love the V Forteza TriComps!  I just purchased a set of Rolph Vigors and have the tricomps to put on.  I think I'm going to set-up my Easton Circuits with wet weather tires.  anybody have a suggestion for a secure wet weather tire?

  • Re: Best everday wheels

There is some great info here and I have just one more question before I make a dicision on my own "everyday" wheels.  My current everyday wheels are the Easton Circuits that came with the bike when I purchsed it in '06 (Soloist Team).  If I replace them with Rolf  Vigors am I getting a better built wheel?  Is ...
