  • Re: Wheres the Best place to buy a Cervelo in BC canada

+1 for Speed Theory.   They are awesome. I'm not from Vancouver. I was there visiting a friend. I had my bike with me and had a problem (slight damage in the bike case) enroute from Toronto Airport. They fixed my bike for free! Which was a simple derailleur hanger re-alignment and looked at it on the spot without me having to come ...

  • Re: 2008 Soloist survivor project...

I doubt the frame would warp or change it's strength from the heat. The stickers didn't even melt off. If the stickers melted I would pass on the bike. I didn't know Dukes was selling fire-salvaged bikes. I would have thought with the insurance claim they were obligated to destroy all bikes that were presented to the adjuster. ...

  • Re: Brass Shim... Do carbon soloist use them?

Thanks for the quick reply. Just tried fitting the seatpost in. Quite a bit tighter fit than the soloist aluminum frame. Got some Tacx carbon paste that should do the trick.   Jason

  • Brass Shim... Do carbon soloist use them?

I'm the owner of a 2006 Soloist Team aluminum framset that I've loving put many thousand kilometers on. I just bought a SLC-SL on closeout sale and recieved the frameset.   I have not begun assembly, only going through the contents of the box.  Does the SLC-SL use a brass shim like the soloist aluminum frames?

  • 2008 SLC SL bottom bracket height?

Quick question. I just picked up a 2008 SLC SL frame (54 cm) on closeout sale from a shop.  I had a old webpage printed out and the SLC SL had the following:   Higher bottom bracket and torsional stiffness - The Soloist Carbon is Jens Voigts favorite bike in 2006. So maybe there was no need to increase the bottom bracket and ...

  • Re: We the customers want a white S2

They should make the whole bike black then. Or get rid of the cheesey red / silver front and go with a better scheme.

  • We the customers want a white S2

Just like the white R3. We the customers want a white S2 in the same paint scheme.    That is all.  Jason
