Looking into some wheels with at least a 30mm profile and preferably the newer wider rim shape as well e.g Zipp 101, Hed C2 etc. FYI, the Ksyrium wheels are one of the least aero wheels available, But the elite are actually faster than the ES.

The replacement frames are new and pulled directly from the assembly line. Ive had one cracked and three crash replacements, in all cases, quality has been on par. If there is an issue, discuss it with Cervelo, they are very resonable.

Although I'm a traditionalist... I guess I'm one of the few... I like it!

Why bother with tubular's... they have 50% more rolling resistance, less aero and you need to carry and extra tire in case you flat [270g which negates any weight benefit]. The newer clinchers at 200g and a tube at 50g will be lighter than most tubular's as well. The tubs my ride slightly better but don't make up for the extra hassle ...

I had the S3 for a while and while it was a great bike, it didn't have the 'race feel' of the R3 or R5. There is a noticeable difference in head tube stiffness and weight. All will depend on your inseam... I'm 6'5" and ride a 61cm. I ride this size in the new models with the taller head tube and older models with the 200mm head tube.

I've had many Cervelo's and have some problems with older models. But if there was a problem it was replaced without question. I've had my current R5 for a 1 1/2 years and have not had any issues. As you can attest, nothing rides like a Cervelo! You'll be happy with it

Ive been useing the Sram S 900 crank for the last year or so on my R5 and have had great results. I was using the Rotor 3D [not the plus] cranks originally with the adapter that came with the bike. I wanted longer cranks as well as the full benefit of BBright. Ironically, the longer 177.5 Sram S 900 crank set up is ...

Ive used the Power cords on several bikes and had no issues, very smooth
