  • Re: Still riding a 2010 S2...Am I missing out?

Sounds like we have the exact same set up - older Red group and FC303s except mine is a 2009 S2. Ive been asking myself the same question on and off for the past couple years too. Unfortunately for me to add I have to subtract a bike and for what Ive put into the bike and what I can get for it I have a hard time justifying an upgrade that ...

  • Daytime running headlights

Wondering how many forum members ride with daytime running headlights? I always use a rear facing light but very recently picked up a Bontrager Ion for some early morning/late evening rides and have been thinking of using it all the time regardless of time of day. I'll admit the older I get and now with a wife and two young kids I've ...

  • Questions for S3d owners

Now that the new S3d has been out for a bit was hoping any new owners could post some thoughts on their bike. Comfort level/ride quality? Can you "feel" the added weight because of the adaptation to discs? Upgrades from stock? And for us weight weenies- final weight?

  • R3 to C3 anyone?

Thinking of parting out my R3 (will hold on to the frame for nostalgia reasons), selling my Diverge and getting a C3 or maybe a BMC Roadmaster. Anyone here go from an R to C series? Looking to downsize a bit and I find I've been riding the R3 much less the past couple years and even though I really like my Diverge I ended up putting on ...

  • Re: Cervelo Prodigy

I have a Prodigy and absolutely love it! Also picked one up as my winter bike but found myself using it more year round. I've built mine up with a 7800 groupset I had and Vision aluminum clinchers, with cages, pedals, and garmin mount it's 18lbs even. Not too bad as I didn't really WW any parts. Mine is actually a Super Prodigy ...

  • Re: Help me decide on a wheelset: Dura Ace C35 vs Reynold Assaults SLG

I was a little late to the "full carbon clincher club" for the same concerns- braking, noise, durability, etc. Finally took the plunge and I couldn't be more happy with them (Zipps/Rovals). Braking is as good as my aluminum clinchers and aside from a pretty cool whir when braking no squealing at all. Ride quality has much ...

  • Re: new bike, R3 or TCR

Obviously you're going to find a lot of love for the R3 on this forum and with good reason. In all fairness to Giant since Cervelo warranty was mentioned, I looked up Giant's- they also cover their frames/forks for the time it's owned by the original owner as well as paint and original components for the first year- not too bad ...
